I 475 Project Affect on FRT??
Author Last Post
The roundabout at Dort and Stewart would affect riding on trail from downtown or genesee valley trail.

I have another meeting at 4 but plan tto go to meeting at market once that is done.

This shouldn't affect the trail users too much. Leith and Garfield / Boulevard also run under the expressway on the north side of the river, and the trail along the south side (near Riverside Drive and along Lewis) already serves as a nonmotorized connection. I've ridden the FRT between downtown and the Genesee County Parks admin building, and that south side path is how I do it.

The presentation will be from 4 to 7:30 September 15 at the new farmers market.

I have been informed that a 300 million dollar rebuild of I 475 they will remove the Massachusetts avenue crossing because vehicles don't use it. Is this what the folks that use that part of the FRT use? They are requesting feedback on that and also a roundabout they want to put in at Dort and Stewart. Apparently there is a public meeting on 9/15??
