This statement, pasted below, was put out by the board with regard to the Assenmacher 100 and the updated refund policy for the Assenmacher 100. It explains that the Assenmacher 100 is still planned at the moment, but this could change as time unfolds and additional information is available.

Cancellation and Refund Policy Update
As you know, all of us are now facing a unique situation with the Coronavirus pandemic. With the Assenmacher 100 tour several months away, we are currently still planning to hold this event. This may change based on decisions made by the Genesee Wanderers Cycling Club (GWCC) or as a result of local, state or national mandates related to large events. The health and well-being of our riders, staff, volunteers and local communities will be our primary consideration.
One decision we have made is to relax our 2020 Cancellation and Refund Policy to make it easier to change your plans due to the Coronavirus. This is a significant decision for the Genesee Wanderers Cycling Club as a majority of the funding for our club and the work that it does to promote safe cycling in our community comes from tour proceeds. We know that this pandemic is creating hardships for everyone and make this decision seeking to support our tour participants during this difficult time.
Once this difficult year has passed, we will return to our original Cancellation and Refund Policy.
CANCELLATIONS PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT 8/1/2020
If a participant notifies the Genesee Wanderers Cycling Club (GWCC) in writing (either by email or U.S. Postal Service) received by midnight of August 1, 2020 of their request to cancel their registration, a full refund (minus applicable credit card, bank or registration site fees) will be made to the participant within 30 days. This includes the price of any merchandise purchased at the time of registration.
In the event that the GWCC cancels the event prior to midnight of August 1, 2020 a full refund (minus applicable credit card, bank, or registration site fees) will be made to the participant within 30 days. This includes the price of any merchandise purchased at the time of registration.
In lieu of a full refund participants may request that their registration fees applied to the 2021 Assenmacher 100 registration (locked in at the 2020 price).
CANCELLATIONS AFTER MIDNIGHT 8/1/2020
In the event that the GWCC cancels the event after midnight of August 1,2020 the registration fee and merchandise purchases will be applied to the 2021 Assenmacher 100 registration (locked in at the 2020 price). No additional refunds will be given.
No refunds or credits will be issued to participants who cancel on the day of the event.
