The Assenmacher 100 is a recreational and social fun bicycle ride through the farmland and villages of mid-Michigan. Started in 1980, it has become one of Michigan's premier century rides and has been endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. It is held each year on the third Sunday in August. With routes of 20, 34, 56, 66, 100 miles, and gravel routes of 40 and 64 miles there are courses for experienced cyclists as well as the casual rider. It has become a popular DALMAC warm up ride. Come on out for a great ride!
Routes
Thank you for your interest in the Assenmacher 100! The Start - Finish is at Swartz Creek Center for Performing Arts. Use Cappy Ln. entrance Miller Rd entrance is for bike use only. The five scenic paved, bike-friendly routes are available for our 2023 ride. Rest stop refreshments, maps, turn by turn directions, and support vehicles will be on all paved routes until 3:00 PM. All routes will be marked with our new, improved, unique color coded "A" road arrows. The routes are designed to coincide so, depending on the distances, you will be able to ride with riders doing various distances. Additionally, we have 2 gravel routes that utilize the rest stops. Gravel routes will not be marked, however paper and online maps and cue sheets will be available. SAG vehicles will be available, just not patrolling the gravel routes.

- 56 miles flat to rolling hills
- 100+ kilometers (66 miles) flat to rolling hills
- 100 miles (Century) flat to moderate hills.

Road Markings
Roads will be marked with "A" arrows. The routes all start and finish together.
At the start and finish follow the Red A arrows
After the routes split and until they rejoin follow the color of arrow for your route.
20 mile follow Pink A arrows.
34 mile follow Yellow A arrows.
56 mile follow Blue A arrows.
66 mile follow Orange A arrows.
100 mile follow White A arrows.
All riders must sign the release. A parent signature is required for applicants under 18. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking
Parking is available at Swartz Creek Center for Performing Arts Use entrance on Cappy Ln Miller Rd entrance will be for bike use only.
ASSENMACHER 100 T-shirts will be available for only $15.00 until Dec 31 2023 and then $20.00 or $16.00 for GWCC Members. Online pre-purchase is available. We will have a few for sale Sunday morning.

We have a jersey this year for the 45th Assenmacher 100. To order it go to our Primal Store. Jerseys will be shipped to you. DEADLINE FOR ORDERING: August 26, 2024 (midnight Central Daylight Time)

Celebrate your successful completion of the 45th Assenmacher with us after the ride.
Enjoy food after the ride in the school parking lot. No alcohol is allowed on school premises.
Pre-registration
Pre-registration is recommended!
Check-in is from 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Century riders must leave by 8:00 AM. All other riders should be on the road by 10:30 AM .
GENESEE WANDERERS CYCLING CLUB 2024 Cancellation and Refund Policy
If a participant notifies the Genesee Wanderers Cycling Club (GWCC) in writing (either by email or U.S. Postal Service) received by midnight of August 1, 2024 of their request to cancel their registration, a full refund (minus applicable credit card, bank or registration site fees) will be made to the participant within 30 days. This includes the price of any merchandise purchased at the time of registration.
Note:
If GWCC members registrar on our website while logged in they receive a $5.00 discount on the ride. And only $16.00 for a t-shirt ($15.00 until Dec 31 2023). Also they are not charged a processing fee. To join GWCC go to Member Signup / Information
