Hello fellow Wanderers!
Happy Friday! I hope you are well!
Last week, Jonathan, our board president, informed the board of his resignation. I am including his resignation below, as I think it's important for you to know his care for GWCC. We truly appreciate all Jonathan has done to support GWCC! The board has not met yet to determine if the next step is to fill the vacancy of the President (with any board member); or as the Vice-President, I fill the vacancy of President and then the board fills the VP position.
I hope for us to meet in the next two weeks, as we have also not had a follow up meeting from the A100. No meeting is yet scheduled. We should be able to schedule a meeting and will let you know by this Sunday.
In the meantime, please consider becoming involved with the GWCC board, as we are in need of adding at least one (and up to 4) board members. I am attaching the last copy of the GWCC bylaws that I have. Even if you don't want to become a board member, please feel free to contact
me or the
board and let us know your thoughts about GWCC (what we are or could be doing, other ideas, or suggestions).
Thank you for being part of GWCC!
My best,
Jessica

Dear Fellow Board Members,
It has been a real joy to serve on the GWCC board with you all these last several years. When I started my current term as President of the club I had every intention of fulfilling my term. Unfortunately some recent changes at work have required a significant amount of time and attention. Therefore, I believe it is best that I resign, effective immediately, from the GWCC board.
I do hope in the future I will be able to continue to help with the club. If you all need a place to meet or host club events, I’d be happy to help facilitate the use of our church building.
Jonathan Wass
