Author Last Post

Greetings Genesee Wanderers,

If you sent in details for rides to the webmaster email address, but do not see your rides posted on the calendar yet, please resend your information. We discovered that the webmaster@geneseewanderers.org email was not functioning properly and have corrected it. Thank you.

Greetings Genesee Wanderers!!

Are the Spring temperatures tempting you to get out and ride again? Daylight Saving time starts on March 9th and the daylight hours are growing longer. We are beginning to update our calendar with ride information for club rides, together with tours and other rides Wanderers have recommended. We will also be announcing the date and time of our Annual Membership meeting and Spring Potluck in the near future.

ATTENTION RIDE LEADERS:

Please send details of rides you lead, or would like to introduce for the club to webmaster@geneseewanderers.org so they can be posted on our calendar. The key information needed include:

  • DATE(S) - (including single day rides, such as birthday rides or holiday rides, as well as weekly rides)
  • TIME - please note the time the ride will start, and whether or not the start time is flexible
  • DISTANCE - please note if there are more than one route available
  • START LOCATION ADDRESS
  • EXPECTED PACES - please include if there are variable paces and whether or not the ride is "No-Drop", "Regroup", "Race" or any other pace expectations. Example posted for our Tuesday evening rides:
  • A+ 24+ mph average
  • A 19-22 mph average
  • B 15-20 mph average
  • C 12-16 mph average, no drop/regroup
  • RIDE LEADER CONTACT INFORMATION
  • TYPE OF RIDE - please note if this is a trail ride, road ride, gravel ride, mixed ride
  • REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
  • ADDITIONAL NOTES - Please note if there are other factors that riders might want to know, for example, if the ride also qualifies as a TCBA ride, or if there are costs associated with the ride, or if there are plans for food stops, lunches, etc.

Looking forward to riding!!!
