Don't Forget to Help Pass Michigan’s VRU Law

A friendly reminder and quick update on the Vulnerable Road User (VRU) bills: Both HB 4334 and HB 4335 are officially scheduled for consideration in the Michigan House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, November 5, at 10:30am and are listed 5th and 6th on the agenda.
You might have noticed our earlier action alert mentioned only one of the two bills — this has been corrected. Both HB 4334 and HB 4335 are key parts of the VRU protection package, working together to make Michigan’s roads safer for everyone who bikes, walks, or rolls.
If you haven’t already, please take 60 seconds today to contact your Representative and ask for their support of both HB 4334 and HB 4335 before Wednesday’s vote. Learn more and take action at LMB.org/VRU or click below:
And if you’re able, consider showing up in person at the Capitol on Wednesday, November 5, at 10:30am in Room 521, House Office Building (124 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48933).
